How would you know?

Hehe, good question. Because I want to do everything. I am a perfectionist, and an extensive eye for detail. I work until I get it right. I have a long history of wowing people with my insight and my quick grasp of subject matter… When I am listening anyway.

So you’re saying you’re a genius?

No I am not… a genius. In fact the exact opposite. I am very serious about that. I know this for a fact. I am dumb. I am not some kind of prodigy, no I got to where I am through hard work. You have no idea how annoying that is for me. Cause, I would love to be a prodigy, to be naturally brilliant.

Don’t get me wrong, I have been mistaken on many occasions for just that. A prodigy, naturally brilliant. It has gotten me a good bit of scorn. I am good, I know that now, but make no mistake, it was not easy to get here.

Mostly it was due to lots of reading, and long periods of trying to understand. This build up and thirst for knowledge was initiated because I was seen as a stupid kid. I HATED IT. So much did I hate it, I did all I could to change it. I began to love what I learned. I exhausted the non-fiction books in my school library in 5th grade. Some even covering as advanced topics as relativity, trigonometry, and yes, there was even an old battered programming book among them.
